From the Editor : Welcome to the Innovative Parenting Edition

Hey Everyone!

innovate parenting 2Hope you are all doing great. Our apologies for the short hiatus. It has been a really eventful first few months for us. From running two big events, working with partners, preparing the production for our upcoming parenting books, the team has been running around at warp speed. So much so that its hard to believe that its already coming to the end of April.

In any case, we hope the first four months of your 2014 has been swell and that it will continue to be amazing till the end of the year. In order to help you do just that, we are pleased to introduce to you to our Innovative Parenting Edition of the Pitter Patter newsletter.

That’s right, in this edition, we go beyond the conventional ways of parenting and explore issues and new ideas that may not have seem all that important but may hold a crucial role in ensuring your success as parents.

So to start off, we have an article on how you can bring out the genius in your child. This will definitely help parents who want to go the extra mile and hope that their children will be ahead of the pack. Next, we discuss the importance of enjoying mealtimes with the family. Now, this may seem like a mundane, regular activity with not much innovation involved, but once you realise the value of family mealtime in creating a healthy, happy and nurturing environment for your children to thrive, you will be coordinating family meals sooner than one can say “What’s for dinner?”

Of course, in trying to be innovative, you also need to understand and overcome the challenges. Therefore, we also have an article on the challenges of being a father in the 21st century. And finally.. no Pitter Patter newsletter will be complete without an article on medical and health. So in this issue, we explain what is chorioamnionitis and how do you prevent or manage it.

We hope you enjoy this edition of our newsletter. If you are looking for more great articles and content, do check out our Facebook page or website. Or if you have any questions do drop us a line at [email protected].

Have a great month ahead moms and dads!
