What is happening to me?
As your baby grows you may start to feel him or her kicking. This is term as ‘quickening’. As your body continues to produce more blood your heart will be busy pumping it around your body. An increase in blood flow to your skin and oil production from your skin sebaceous gland will makes your face look brighter and shinier giving that ‘pregnancy glow’. You may even look more attractive to your partner. So, smile and enjoy the attention!

What should I plan this week?
  • You may want to spice things up with your partner this week. Go ahead pamper yourself this week, go for a relaxing massage or facial and maybe buy that sexy lingerie. Do not worry, you won’t hurt your baby during sex as there is amniotic fluid, strong muscles of the womb and thick mucus plug at the neck of the womb.

Talk to your doctor about having sex with your partner. Provided there are no problems during pregnancy it should be OK to go ahead.
