From the Editor : It’s the Boys v Girls Edition

Hey everyone!

We are back with the May edition of the Pitter Patter Newsletter! Hope you are all keeping well. In this issue, we will be discussing some of the most interesting topics on parenting to date! The Boys v Girls debate! So who are easier to raise? Which child is more active and who among your children are more likely to become geniuses? The tip to answering these question and more lies with understanding the physical, psychological and emotional development of both boys and girls and identifying the differences and shared commonalities between the two.

So yes, while it is more exciting to pit one gender against each other (the boy v girl argument never gets old! :)) we believe as responsible educators, its best for us to dive deeper into the more important aspects of their development and provide you with useful information on how to be better parents. After all.. that is what Pitter Patter is all about!

So in this issue, we will be looking at physical activities and how it can be used as an effective tool in bridging the gender gap. Next we shall be sharing some great insights on whether your diet among other things can influence the gender of your baby, in the months leading up to conception. Beyond that, we will also discuss something a bit more medical. Did you know that pre-implantation genetic diagnosis (PGD) is a great supplementary treatment to in-vitro fertilisation (IVF) in order to check and prevent sex-linked genetic disorders for your baby? If you don’t fear not, as we have all the insights here.

Finally, we share some interesting insights and observations about the real difference between boys and girls in terms of personality, character traits, cognitive development and emotional maturity.
