week 33

What is happening to my baby?
Your baby’s skin is beginning to plump out due to fat being deposit underneath the skin. Its skin looks less red and wrinkly. At this stage your baby measures about 43cm and weighs 2kg.
What is happening to me?
The top of your uterus is now about 5 inches above your belly button. You may notice a yellowish substance coming out of your nipples. This is called colostrum or pre-milk. It is the type of milk is produced by the breast in the first few days after delivery. It is much thicker.
What should I plan this week?
  • This week will be exciting as you plan to buy cute and adorable baby things in preparation for your coming baby.
  • Take a photo of yourself!

  • Prepare to buy breast feeding bras, bottles and breast feeding pumps.
Tips for this week
Tips on buying nursing bras:
  • Get a bra that stretches and easy to open flaps even with one hand!
  • Buy at least one pretty nursing bra
  • It may be hard to know which correct size you’ll need until you are actually breast- feeding. Make sure get a few first in different sizes and as you may need to change later to a bigger cup size. See their return policy.
  • Do not get those with underwires
  • It needs to be comfortable and give good support
  • Get the bras with the new breathable microfiber fabrics
  • Easy to take care – the bras could be washed in the washing machine or even be tumble dry.
